KIMBALL JUNCTION

Kimball Junction is the commercial hub of The Basin, offering most of our service retail. The east side includes the Redstone Shopping area, offering Smiths Marketplace grocery shopping, gas station, numerous restaurants, and several name brand mid-tier box stores such as TJ Maxx, Homegoods, World Market, Best Buy and Michaels. The University of Utah Redstone Medical Center offers a wide range of services and includes the Moran Eye Center. The north side of Redstone offers a diverse selection of local shops. Park City Coffee Roasters is one of my favorite coffee shops and offers strong brew, a delightful selection of breakfast goodies and free Wi-Fi. On the east end, the 1,200+ acre Swaner Nature Preserve offers summer concerts and the EcoCenter, which is an art environmental education facility enhanced by 10 miles of trails in this area. The Basin Recreation Center offers a full array of fitness options for residents, including a full schedule of fitness classes, indoor track, year-round outdoor pool, and childcare. There is a well-hidden UDABC liquor store on the northeast corner! On the west side of Hwy. 224 are the Snyderville Basin transit center, the library and additional shops including Whole Foods, The Factory Outlet Stores, Walmart, Staples, and Big 5 Sporting Goods (opening late 2021.) Real estate options include a variety of high-density townhomes and stacked condominiums on the outer boundaries. The entire neighborhood is serviced by the free transit system.
